Through the years Dr. Servy has accomplished many milestones in Assisted Reproduction. He began doing IVF in 1986 and in July of that year the first in vitro pregnancy was achieved in the Augusta area. Following this in 1989 he had the first pregnancy from a blastocyst transfer in the US. Cryopreservation of blastocysts proved to be more difficult however in 1992 we also achieved the first pregnancy in the US from a frozen blastocyst transfer.

Dr. Servy participated in the group of medical practitioners that pioneered the use of pelvic ultrasonography at the Medical College of Georgia in 1975.

Dr. Servy published an original study comparing ultrasonographic descriptions of twelve different types of ovarian tumors in 1976.

Beginning in 1975 Dr. Servy began developing and excelling in several areas of pelvic surgery that requires less hospitalization, is less invasive and more cost effective for patient than most standard surgical option available at the time.

hysterectomy with the same results.

Dr. Servy also has 40 years of experience in hormonal treatment and monitoring.
